FAQ
Who are we?
We are a law office located in Chicago, Illinois. We represent property owners in the appeal of their property tax assessments in Cook County and the collar counties (including Will County and Lake County).
Why are my property taxes going up?
Government spending. While recent improvements to your property may increase your property tax assessment, the driver of what makes up our property tax bill is government spending.
How do I get started?
Before agreeing to take anyone on as a client, we first ask to take a look at the subject property so that we can make a determination if there may be grounds to file a property tax appeal. We happily provide a complimentary property tax analysis, where we take a look at a property’s tax assessment, for interested property owners. We have a few easy ways for you to reach us, so that we can start analyzing your property for potential tax savings:
- 1. Fill out our Complimentary Property Tax Analysis Form
- 2. Call us at 312-890-1424;

When do I need to file my property tax appeal?
Typically, you will have 30 days from the day on which you received the notice of your most recent assessment to file your property tax appeal with most county assessors. Some counties provide an additional opportunity to file an appeal, before having to go to the Property Tax Appeal Board in Springfield or filing a complaint at your district court house.
Given the time-sensitive nature of property tax appeals, it is important to act quickly in order to compile an effective appeal before it is too late. Each county has its own rules and each township has its own deadlines. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you feel we could be of assistance! Get started by filling out our Complimentary Property Tax Analysis Form here!
What will it cost?
We work primarily on a contingent fee basis. If our work saves money in your pocket, we earn a sum in proportion. But, because that sum is a small percentage of the fortune we save you, everybody’s happy.
If our work fails, you won’t see a bill from us and we don’t make the rent. This way, it is in our best interest to serve your best interest!
